PERSONALITY
[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"]Kamijo can be a handful at times to those that don’t know him well. He can be a little cocky and overconfident about his own abilities which sometimes play in his favor against others who are not, but most of the time can get him into trouble. Not that he is always full of himself, he can be a good listener to those who need it on a rare occasion even give sound advice from this he himself knows.
Kamijo can be very observant even when it looks like he is goofing off, or being a flirt. When working he seems to turn a 180, becoming rather distant and cold, focus on what is going on without adding emotional disruptions.

HISTORY
[attr="class","fbidossiertxtboxy"]Like many, childhood for Kamijo had its sweet times, and it’s bitter. Born into a family that majority worked in Law and Police force, much of his life had already been lay out for him. He would grow up knowing right from wrong, how to justify his actions to make sure that the weak were protected, and understand what his father’s dreams were for him. Kamijo excelled in his studies, and in his Family’s Dojo, competing with even his better cousins. Sometimes driving himself into the tasks set in front of him help forget the things that happen behind the doors of his own family’s home.
Having always been sickly in her childhood, Kamijo’s mother [Meana] had been diagnosed with Ovarian cancer when he was five, during a time that his parent’s were trying to conceive another child. The treatment tore Meana apparent, even though she would go on later to be a survivor of the cancer she had lost her ability to have children. Trying to be the best son he could, Kamijo tried his best to keep a smile and chase the shadows from his mother’s face by or, well trying, to be the only child she would ever need. But Meana, sort of fell in her health throughout the following years to come, becoming more of a shadow of her former self with the loss.
It wasn’t until Kamijo was just a little over seven did his Father try to turn around his wife’s failing heart, when he had made the decision that they would adopted a sibling for their son, so he would grow up with another and not be an only child. Like in any child’s heart, Kamijo was angry, angry that his father didn’t think that all Meana need was just her son, that there would be another sibling to divide his already busy father and fading mother’s attention. He wanted to be spiteful to the child that would come into his home, swore in the darkness of his room that he would not ever love the child that would come.
But sometime, meeting someone can change that.
She was introduced as Keiko to him the day his parents returned from an overseas trip. His parents had left on a week's trip to somewhere without ever telling him were but leaving him to stay with a close Uncle. She was small, big eyed, didn’t speak even a tiny bit of Japanese, and so frightened. People say no matter how angry you get at those you love, tiny hands can change everything. Keiko’s did.
Changed him from swearing to never care for a child brought home to be his sibling, to wanting nothing more to protect her from the world. And as it would be later discovered that his new sister shared her own health problems with their mother, Kamijo was nothing more than a dearing big brother protecting the big eyed little sister of his. If anything she become more of a driving force for him to become better, stronger, wiser. So that he could be her protector.
Though Keiko would be more his solid fortress, when he turned fourteen, their beloved mother’s cancer returned. This time, she would not recover from it, and with the loss the family lost its light. Kemijo become slightly withdrawn, focused on tasks on hand, studying, and trying not to become a bother for their total withdraw father who become very focused on his work life after the loss of his wife. By the time he was seventeen, he had joined the police academy, to make his family proud. It was his life goals to carry on his family’s traditions, to do something his mother had pushed him for until her passing. Keiko trying to caught up to his coat tails. He graduated before he was twenty joining the police force. A man with great drive and a mission to make his someless distract father proud of.
Life was as it should be for Kamijo, becoming rather successful in his career, but continuing his eduationing getting a master in Law. Nothing he could be more than perfectly happy with until the world turned against him. It was late in winter when life would come full circle, like mother like daughter some say. Keiko, his little sister, would have her first critical heart attack while at her private school when she was just eighteen. Fear of losing her too, seem to draw their father out of his darkness since his wife’s death. But only because it also seemed to bring someone back into his little sister life.
Her twin.
It had never been something he had ever thought about again, since the day he saw his little bright eyed sister, that in truth they were not related by blood at all. And, at the same time perhaps it was something his father just forgot to talk to her about. But if Keiko ever felt betrayed at the idea she wasn’t really his sister, Kamijo didn’t know, and she never said anything to him. In the end, to him Leia was just a person trying to make her way into his sister's life, along with about anyone involved in her life which included him. He found the twin to be his siblings complete opposite. Where Keiko was quiet, Leia was loud. To his announce thought, they two become rather close in the passing years.
Leia become more of a regulatory in his life, helping when he couldn’t to keep an eye on his little sibling as her health would waver from good to bad over the following years. Life seemed to find a pattern afterwards. Some old wounds between him and his father had found their way to being better. A family broken by the death of a mother and wife heal, moving onward, family feeling more like family then it had in a long time. Dedicated to his work, Kamijo would make headway in his dream of following his own father’s steps, aiming to be Police Chief before he was thirty.
But like most things, tragedy always strikes when you least expect it.
Gunned down while on duty, Kamijo would be an orphan at the age of twenty-five. Bitter is tragedy, and though he should have been the rock to hold himself and his sibling up. That was something Kamijo could not bear, as the loss of now both his parents turned many things sour. A self driven destruction was a short path he would find himself speeding down that would end in flames. A drunken stunt on his motorcycle would land him in a hospital for over four months, and home bound for another 3.
As fast as his self destruction started, as quickly as it was ended.
By his sibling and her twin.
Kamijo knew nothing about the world of Sacrifice and Fighters until the day he first woke up in the hospital. His little sister on whits end, the few times his emotional withdrawn sister was ever so emotional raw, not only had to scolded him for his stupidity but also had to explain what the name that had appeared some days before on his shoulder meant.
A new life, a new direction. Having placed his mourning of his father behind him, he took to the world he found his sister and his twin had belonged to all along. It help fill in a void that had been created in a way. To his competitive spirit, he found new things that interested him, like trying to outdo Leia. And somewhere down the line, met a Headmaster who he sort of could get along enough with.
Well enough to be part of his personal policing squad anyways.
Kamijo, however, dislikes the idea that some other unknown individual could have some perverse control over him. And is in no way interested in finding what this world calls “his other half”.
