Chatbox Mod fire
- Plotting with another member.
- Stating a character’s thoughts or opinion on a subject under discussion in the chatbox(cb).
- Mild sarcasm and teasing.
- General chatter and catching up.
- Asking and answering questions that are not of an intimate nature.
- Titling your pm to me with anything to do with the cb rules.
THINGS THAT WILL GET YOU IN TROUBLE:
- Roleplaying (RPing) in the chatbox(cb).
- Arguing.
- Degrading other members, characters, or changes to the forum.
- Not sending me the pm with the hidden message and talking in the chatbox.
- Other obvious negative behavior that goes against the anti-bullying policy and site rules.
- Talking about your sex life or having a conversation that gets too personal/intimate.
- Advertising in the chatbox.
EXPLANATIONS:
- As this has been issues in the past there is to be no Role Playing in the Chatbox. Stating a characters thought is fine. But no role playing. Plots are essential so is discussion of unit bonding and such. Things that will help create a role play are allowed in the box.
- If you have an issue to discuss with someone or concerns to express to someone, send a private message(pm) to the party(s), don’t use the chatbox for it.
- Actions that have a negative impact on how visitors will view our forum are not allowed.
- This is a reminder to read our rules and the anti-bullying policy, and to refresh your memory should you start forgetting.
- The pm is to make sure the rules are read. The message to pm me is This is cool, see you in the cb!
- The next thing is your intimate relationships. We don't need details and such. Not everyone is comfortable with it. So Rpers if you are dating each other keep your intimate notions off the boards. We don't need to know how good your sex was or how to kiss someone. Last thing we need is to make someone feel uncomfortable.
THE CONSEQUENCES OF YOUR ACTIONS:
- First you will be reminded that you are crossing a line and asked to stop, then given a list of options for acceptable actions to take.
- If you continue, you will be warned to back off or be banned.
- If you persist, other staff will get involved and determine the length of your ban.
- If staff banning you from the chatbox does not resolve the issue, the admin will be asked to step in, and your ban will last for a month.
- If you do not send the pm and post in the cb, you will be treated as a rule breaker.
