Today was a cold day but that wasn't going to keep this shy reddish-orange furball out of the streets. Even though it was now nearing 3pm Erik was still on this trek of determination on finding the "perfect" cake. Today is his father's birthday and for now he was looking for the finishing touch. Walking out of a store he sighed a bit deflated since this was the 6th store he went looking for a sweet treat. Erik turned around and furrowed his brow a bit, "Awww Crumble Cakes...I was hoping they had something here I could get for dad..." As he turned to walk away his stomach lightly growled. He blushed madly as he gulped. Quickly he took out his phone and looked at the time. "Oh wow...it is that time already??" he said as he looked around and his stomach growled again. "I better get some food before my stomach wants to eat itself..." He said as he tried to put his cell phone away only to drop it. Just as he went to pick it up he kicked it by accident and it skidded a few feet in front of him.

Boris walked along the street stores to refresh his mind. Today was a quiet day for boris as he was at home all day working on his new music for a house party he was doing tomorrow. For hours he was fixing it making it sound better than the next. After all of that he was finally done. Now for a break. As he walked he didnt realized it waa cold. But luckily he wore his hat and jacket as he walked out the house. As he walked the light sound of his piercing on his tail and ears jingled as he took each step. "I wonder if its going to snow?" He thought as he looked up at the sky as it was dark and heavy, then soon a cold wind came through. He wasnt really a fan of the cold. But since he was in his house all day and without eating this was a chance to come out and eat out instead of cooking which wasnt all that great. He couldnt decided what he wantes to eat as he passed by each food shop. He soon stoped and looked at one "this one just must've just opened recently, I dont remember seeing this one before.then again i dont really come out that often." The scent that was coming from the shop smelled really good. And with the crowd of people in it it seems good. "Well all im gonna do is walked around figuring out what I want might as well try it." As he was about to walk in he felt something hit the side of his foot. He looked down as he saw a cell phone. His ears twitched at the curiosity of where it could've came from. He bend down and picked up and examined it "I wonder who this belongs to?"

Erik scampered trying to catch his phone but sadly it hit someone's shoe before he could grab it. "Aww Ginger Snaps..." he said as he blushed a bit. "Um excuse me but that one is mine if you don't mind me having it back. I dropped it by accident." He said as he began messing with a bit of his tail. Erik didn't try looking up since he was too embarrassed to do so. Something caught his attention though as he very, timidly, and slowly began to look up. His face was even redder than before. "B-B-Boris!" He said as he felt that strange tingling sensation again. These weird vibrations began to echo at his feet and it seemed to create a music like pattern for him.

Notes/OOC: His ring is making small musical vibrations with Boris which is making him more nervous.

As boris looked at the phone. He heard someone in front of him, he looked up and saw a guy with long red hair he was looking at him his face was red as a bright cherry. Boris continued to look at him as he fumbled with his tai something about the guy seemed somewhat familiar to him there was faint sound coming from somewhere it was soft but enough to feel it boris ignored it but then heard the boy say something. The object in his hand was his phone but also he called him by his name "hu? Do i know you?" He asked as she satred more at him, then it clicked, he knew his face but somce it been a while he forgot his name. "Oh! Your umm..." boris tried his best to remember his name. It was a common name so how could he forgotten such a common easy one at that. His eys tried to connect with his mind as to where he saw him and of course the name.

    Erik was a very bright red as he turned his face away and held out his hands. "My name is Erik." he said in almost a low tone. Emerald like eyes tried to see if he would put the phone into his hands or would he have to beg. It was clear the other was thinking a bit so Erik faced him despite his nerves telling him not to. "Well uh...we met in front of the Academy. I was really nervous to go in because it was my first interview in a long time and I was very unsure how Headmaster Iyagami would react to my last name. You came down the street and sat on the bench with me and I forgot but somehow we started talking. It was helping me relax a bit before I left. I know we exchange names then that's how I remember yours." He did feel a little down because the other didn't remember his but then again they only met once? Other times they just passed by each other.

    Erik's gaze was on Boris's hair and he did point to it smiling a bit. "You are also the only person I know with pink and purple hair! It is so unique no one would forget that." He was feeling very nervous now since he was talking so much. His tail wrapped around his right leg since the nervousness was beginning to show. "May I have my phone back please? I am on a very important hunt despite me not being successful..." he pouted a bit as he looked at his own hands to try and calm himself.

Notes/OOC: Ring going crazy and Boris makes him nervous. Pet the kitty!! It's okay buddy~

Boris looked at the nrevous boy. The boy said his name in a whisper it was veey faint but he heard it "oh yeah, thats right erik." Boris said as he chuckled "sorry i forgot it." He smiled as he scrached the back of his head. Erik started saying how they meet "yes. I do remember you was very nervous that day. How did that thing go anyway?" He asked him. Boris saw his hand out as he probably guessed it was for the phone. "Oh yeah let me hand this back to you." He placed the phone back in his hand. He then said something about his hair "oh yeah. I gotta re color as the color is starting to fade and trim it up some." He said as his fingers went through his hair to move some from his face. "Well i wont keep you waiting. As you said you had important thing to get to." He said as he turned and started walking but stopped "oh yeah and keep up with that phone." He chuckled as he walked away. *that boy...theres....something about him...* he thought as he went to do his thing.

    Erik was a bit deflated that someone would forget his name. He turned away a bit in shame. But when Boris asked how his event went he was going to respond except the other was beginning to walk away after his phone was placed in his hands. He clasped it and looked a bit nervously at the other. "Wait. How am I to tell you that experience if you walk away? And...and..." he looked down at the ground as his blush returned a bit."If you don't mind I need a little bit of help. I am searching for something special." He said as he looked up and gave a puppy like face."If you don't mind helping me that is." His tail unraveled from around his waist as his golden white-tipped ears perked. "But if you are busy I can understand." He said as it just dawned on him the other was just out to get something. Everyone seemed to be so busy here. Always having a purpose of some sort as he just wandered around.

Boris stopped inn his tracks as the other started to talk. He then he thought about it, it was kind of silly to leave after you ask a question. Boris smiled as he scratched the back of his head. "Heh, well you gotta point there plus that's kind of rude." he smiled as he went back to him. Its not like he going to do something anyway just walk around the mall and maybe just maybe buy something if it caught his interest. Erik then asked him for help "You need look for something special?  like what? is it for your girlfriend?" he asked the shy boy.  He saw that he was very nervous and its not like he was busy " Umm no im not busy. But I don't see why not I can't help." He smiled at him.  multiply life by the power of two

When he offered to help Erik smiled happily. "Oh thank you! I haven't been having much luck all day." he stated as he watched himself as he placed his phone into his pants pocket.His stomach growled and he stopped as his ears dove back into his hair to hide. "Ah fudge squares. I'm sorry I really want to look for this cake for my dad but food must come first.I haven't eaten since 10am and now it is 3 something....I think." he looked over at him and gave a cheap smile. "Maybe we can eat together and I can tell you about my meeting? If you don't mind the company." He said fidgiting with his jacket.

Boris looked at the nervous boy "ooo your looking for a present for your dad." he said now that he thought about it, he looked and would be too nervous to talk with a girl. He lightly chuckled at the thought. Erik asked him if he could join him for lunch. Boris looked at his watch as it was a little past 3 and he also hadn't eaten since this morning actually now that he thought about it he had not eaten at all. Well it wouldn't have been the first time hes gone all day without food. "Umm sure I don't mind eating with you. I actually need food also." he side chuckled. "You pick though im into anything." he smiled as his tail swished while the rings on his tail chimed.  multiply life by the power of two

Erik was a bit happy to know he would have someone join him for an early dinner. He looked around but saw nothing there really for food. As he walked closer to the street he saw a small ramen shop towards the end of the block. He turned to face the other and smiled, "Well since we are on this street there is a small shop at the end if you don't mind ramen that is?" he said looking a bit nervous now so he looked down at the ground messing with his hair a little bit.

Boris looked over to where he was pointing at. He saw the small ramen shop he looked down at the shy boy and smiled "Yeah, okay," He said he checked his pocket to make sure he had his wallet even though he had a chain connected to it he always checked "Since we are sitting down and chatting how about I buy since im such a nice guy and all." he smiled. This would be a good time to sit with him and talk with about things, things he had questions and thoughts that been going through his mind. "Also i'm not familiar with ramren flavors, perhaps you can show me whats your favorite and i can try it." he smiled "Now come on i'm starving." He smiled as he took hold of his hand and lead them to shop *wow, he has soft hands* he thought to himself. They made there way across the street and to the shop. As they went in the smell of the noodles cooking and the different flavors of the meals spread through the air. He looked around and saw that it was a bit crowed so it must be a really good place. He looked at a menu to see what all they had. "Lets see. Ah man, everything looks good. what do you always get?" boris asked erik as he handed him the paper menu. multiply life by the power of two

Erik was glad he accepted the location. He was unsure what he was going to do if Boris didn't want to eat there. When he offered to pay Erik looked a bit surprised. "Are you sure?" he asked curiously but in seconds they were walking towards it. His cheeks turning a bright red now as he tried to cover his face a bit. Boris took his hand and walked him across the street and they made their way into the small venue. "Oh okay um how are you with spices?" he asked him as he covered his face with the menu.

As boris looked at the menu but soon heard eriks voice "umm..hmm....spices" He thought about it some more as he doesn't use much spices in his meal. "Umm I guess its okay. If you have something in mind I dont mind eating it." He smiled "Oh, did you know what your gonna eat?" He asked as he looked at erik. He saw that he had the menu close to his face "Hey? is everything okay?" He asked "If your worried about paying I dont mind. That will give you extra money to buy something really nice for your dad." He smiled "Umm how about about we go and sit. You pick for us." He said as he looked around the small resturant multiply life by the power of two

Okay heart calm down. Why am I red? Why is my heart racing? I've only met him twice and he makes me flustered. Erik's ears twitched as did his tail as he looked over at Boris. He felt some sort of connection and he couldn't explain it.Almost like a bell ringing clearly with such a beautiful, soothing sound. Once Boris finished speaking Erik's eyes quickly glanced at the menu. "Well there is the chicken ramen bowl. It isn't spicy at all. But if you want some spice I say try the beef one. It is mild but tasty." he smiled as he continued to look at the menu.When he was asked if he knew what he wanted to eat Erik's ears dove into his reddish orange hair and shook his head no.

Of course Boris had to ask him if he was okay and that Erik even more red once again. He was in such of a hurry to find a seat he managed to bump into someones chair nearly falling over."Woah!" he said as the menu slipped out of his hand as he went down.
